The new municipal works department inaugurated!

On Friday, 20 September, the inauguration of the new municipal works department of the Commune of Bettembourg took place, attended by Léon Gloden, Minister of Home Affairs, and Laurent Zeimet, Mayor of the Commune.
More space, modern facilities and centralised services
The site offers larger spaces, modern premises and, above all, technical services centralised on one site tailored to their needs. The main building includes offices, a meeting room, a staff canteen and changing rooms. Several workshops are also located on site, including locksmithing, floriculture, horticulture, stone cutting and carpentry. A car wash station and a storage area for components complete the facilities.
Advanced technical systems
A hybrid heating system has been installed, combining a heat pump supplied by 28 geothermal boreholes 100 metres deep and a gas boiler used only during extreme cold periods. Photovoltaic panels have been installed on the roofs of halls B, C and D. The other buildings were pre-equipped during construction with the necessary cabling to accommodate solar panels in the future.
