New Elmen School Complex
On Friday, 8 May, the new Elmen School Complex in Olm was officially inaugurated.
The ceremony took place in the presence of Mr Félix Eischende, Mayor, Mr Claude Meisch, Minister of National Education, Children and Youth, as well as Mr Léon Gloden, Minister of Home Affairs.

Designed as a modern and functional facility, the project is organised around three main functions, all connected by a shared entrance hall:
- A Maison relais, located on the ground floor and partly on the first floor, with the capacity to accommodate up to 400 children.
- A school restaurant on the first floor, operating in several service periods and offering a minimum capacity of 400 seats.
- An independent motor skills room on the ground floor, made available to theMaison relais.
The primary school itself comprises 23 classrooms and 21 ancillary and multipurpose rooms. Each classroom has an area of approximately 72 m², ensuring a high degree of flexibility in the organisation of school cycles.
The complex also includes a school medical room, as well as several offices dedicated to teachers and the school management.
