Our Values in Every Project
Innovation that makes an impact
Innovation is a lever for creating lasting value. Every challenge is an opportunity to rethink approaches, explore new solutions, and deliver relevant, distinctive, and practical answers. In every project, we turn constraints into opportunities, with one constant ambition: to provide our clients with solutions that have a positive, measurable, and sustainable impact.
A project-specific approach
We treat every project as unique. Our approach adapts to the context, scale, and complexity of each assignment, whether it involves new construction, renovation, or repurposing. This adaptability ensures solutions that are relevant, customized, and sustainable, aligned with client expectations, site constraints, and territorial challenges.
User-centred design
Every project begins with a simple question: who are we designing for? We place the end user at the heart of our approach, ensuring comfort, safety, and ease of use. A project is truly successful when it goes beyond technical performance to become a place to live, work, or pass through—one that inspires, supports, and simplifies everyday life.
Our Areas of Expertise
In Luxembourg, Sweco offers a complete range of services in technical engineering, advanced engineering, project management, design consulting, building management support, sustainable development, and circular economy. This multidisciplinary approach enables us to design consistent solutions that meet project-specific requirements and comply with the highest standards of quality, performance, and sustainability.
Our teams design buildings for everyday use, where user well-being, safety, and efficiency are central to every decision. The solutions we develop take into account evolving uses, technologies, and contexts, ensuring long-term value.

From Design to Follow-up: Complete Project Management
We support our clients at every stage, from the first sketch to post-delivery optimization. Our integrated approach ensures coherence, quality, and sustainability in every project.
- Design and simulations: We carry out advanced technical simulations (thermal, electrical, acoustic, etc.) to optimize design and predict performance.
- Permit applications: We handle administrative and technical procedures: environmental permits, energy performance reports, sustainable certifications, and more.
- Guidance during execution: Our engineers ensure compliance throughout execution: coordination with contractors, inspection of installations, and adherence to quality requirements.
- Follow-up and optimization: After delivery, we remain at our clients’ side: assisting with handover, monitoring performance, and making adjustments if needed.
Whether for human-scale buildings or large-scale developments, Sweco works across a wide range of projects. In addition to our strong local presence, our team benefits from an international network of experts, further enhancing our ability to deliver ever more advanced and innovative solutions.
We provide sustainable solutions that not only meet today’s needs but also anticipate tomorrow’s challenges. History
Today, Sweco in Luxembourg is a leading engineering and consulting company, combining a strong local presence with access to an international network of experts. This structured development is built on a series of strategic milestones that have consolidated our position in Luxembourg and enriched our expertise.
2000 – Creation of Betic Ingénieurs-Conseils
Founded as a technical engineering office, the company quickly gained a solid reputation in technical engineering and sustainable project management. This local foundation remains at the core of our approach.
2020 – Integration into VK architects+engineers
This merger marked our first step toward internationalisation. It allowed us to expand our scope with new areas of expertise, particularly in fire safety, acoustics, and façade engineering.
2022 – EKOplan joins Betic
In September, the integration of engineering firm EKOplan strengthened our expertise in water treatment, while consolidating our local presence and facilitating access to German and German-speaking markets in Luxembourg.
2023 – Integration into the Sweco Group
VK architects+engineers joined Sweco, one of Europe’s largest engineering and architecture firms. This step gave us access to a network of over 22,000 experts, collaborative working methods, and the know-how of this international Group.
2023 – Boydens Luxembourg joins Betic
In June, the integration of Boydens Engineering’s Luxembourg team marked another significant step. This merger strengthened our position in the Luxembourg market by promoting collaboration, exchange, and knowledge sharing between the two specialised technical engineering and Advanced Engineering firms.
2025 – Strengthening with PROgroup and +ImpaKT
In 2025, our team grew once again with the integration of two Luxembourg companies: PROgroup, recognised for its expertise in integrated management of sustainable real estate and urban projects, from feasibility to delivery, and +ImpaKT, specialised in sustainability strategy, ESG reporting, and product digital passports (DPP).
2025 – Sweco
As of September 2025, Betic, PROgroup & +ImpaKT position themselves as one Sweco team on the market, jointly offering their services as an integrated unit. This new identity fully reflects our evolution, unity, and ambition. The entities will be legally merged for the 2026 financial year.
Thanks to these developments, Sweco today offers in Luxembourg a complete and integrated range of services, focused on today’s and tomorrow’s challenges: technical performance, sustainable transition, collective intelligence, and measurable impact.
