An integrated educational environment
Built on the principle of an integrated structure, the campus accommodates:
- a primary school and childcare facility for 300 children,
- a 700 m² sports hall,
- a music school,
- and a children’s educational museum called Plomm.
Synergies between functions
The close proximity of sports, music, and museum facilities to classrooms ensures the site operates in sync with the children’s rhythm and activities, encouraging shared spaces and optimised use of built areas.
Bioclimatic design and natural light
Classrooms are primarily oriented to the north to avoid direct sunlight, while other teaching spaces feature solar-control glazing.
Cross-ventilated areas and skylights bring abundant natural light into most classrooms and activity areas.

Flexible and low-tech construction
The structure is designed for flexibility and dismantlability, allowing the building to evolve with community needs.
A “low-tech” approach reduces reliance on complex systems, minimising maintenance, energy demand, and electromagnetic emissions.
Energy efficiency and building management
Decentralised ventilation, reversible geothermal systems, and dimmable LEDs ensure optimal indoor comfort.
A central building management system enables remote monitoring and efficient operation. Lighting fixtures were chosen for durability and minimal impact on fauna and flora.
Sustainable catering and community use
The campus features a central production kitchen capable of preparing 1,000 meals daily, also serving two other municipal childcare facilities.
Dining rooms are tailored to each age group, supported by a distribution kitchen and an educational kitchen.
