The new global headquarters of Ferrero in Niederanven
The new world headquarters of the Italian confectionery company Ferrero is located in Niederanven and offers nearly 30,000 m² above ground. Ferrero’s aim was to create an elegant, timeless, and highly efficient building. The choice of Findel, close to the airport, was essential, as teams receive daily visitors from numerous countries.
Architecture designed for conviviality and functionality
Following the site’s natural slope, the building consists of two wings—a rectangle and an inverted L—connected by a vast atrium. This atrium, covered by an 800 m² glass roof, is designed as a village square, bringing together all the company’s communal life and circulation areas, including freeform walkways positioned in an offset layout.

An integrated and efficient energy system
Heating is supplied via a connection to Luxembourg City’s district heating network. Treated air is distributed through main technical ducts (one per zone) and is diffused either by round floor-integrated outlets in the raised floors of the various levels or by fan coil units installed along the facades. To ensure maximum flexibility for partition layouts, these fan coil units are positioned at the facades and fully integrated into their architectural lines.
Modern and flexible cooling system
Cooling for the administrative areas is provided via chilled ceiling islands, with the overall system supplemented by a supply of treated air.
This supply not only delivers the required fresh hygienic air but also removes part of the excess heat and dehumidifies the indoor environment.

A BBB-certified building looking to the future
Certified BBB, the building will also be equipped with solar panels, with all rooftop technical equipment completely concealed from street view.
A new hub for Ferrero’s teams
Ferrero’s teams, previously spread across five sites, are now gathered in this new headquarters, which can accommodate between 1,200 and 1,400 workstations depending on the chosen layout.
An additional 5,000 m² will be built soon, enabling the company—which continues to grow—to welcome even more employees.
